Pranavam Dance School

Our institution is situated inside prime location in chennai which is functioning successfully,maintains the traditional value of this art and promotes good students in this field.

Our school offers the quality training in Bharatanatyam – delivered by the professionals who live and breathe the art form. Pranavam was established in the year 2012 in Villivakkam (Chennai). Now the institution has over 100 number of students including four branches till date.

Bharatnatyam classes are conducted in a peaceful environment practicing counselors/dancers. The company, under the guidance of its director, Mr.Sriram Krishna and choreographer cum teacher, Guru. Mrs. Nandhitha Sriram, disciple of Guru Sridev iVenugopal & Padmini Dorairaj and under the guidance of S.Rajeswari (Retd Principal of TamilNadu Music College) completed Nattuvangam.

Ms.Nandhitha, marching towards and promoting the growth and popularity of South Asian dance making Bharatanatyam more accessible in education, training, and professionalism.

Sriramkrishna has been creative Director of Pranavam Dance school since 2012. His pioneering ability for creative adaptation of the classical art form to enhance the sharing and understanding of cultural diversity through dance in schools led to a special place for Pranavam.

Nandhitha trained as a Bharatanatyam classical dancer in chennai, India. Nandhitha’s professional career as an artist, teacher and choreographer started in 2011 and has spanned over four years of performance work in theatres, schools and community venues.  She sees her current work with Pranavam Dance School as an investment for the future of the country’s cultural prosperity.

Course Module:

Pranavam Bharatanatyam school of Dance follows an institution based course modules, programmed for gradual progression from 1st Grade to the next ensuring perfection in the adavus (steps), mudras (hand gestures) and songs. We have partnered with Shri Saravanalaya an ISO certified for conducting District level Grade Exams for the students.
